Let's see school has ended and summer is half way over. I'm feeling much better about the comming year than I was at this time last year. I went to a graduate class at UW-Madison for a week, the class dealt with economic literacy. There were about 54 people there, 15 of which were Family and Consumer Science teachers(that means that the bar at night was dead and that we had to endure questions from the 50 year olds that where off the wall). Also when we had to do a stock report and use PowerPoint, these ladies made twice as many slides as they needed and used all the stupid effects. I really hated listening to all those reports. Since thier teachers do it; no wonder students think that it is a good thing to use all of the effects when making a slide show on powerpoint. Other than that I've gone to Canada and moved someone from Illinois to Nebraska (and brought back a good amount of beer with me). Things with the ladyfriend are well and we will see when the next school year brings about, as this will be her first year as a full time teacher.
